Outgoing Wire Transfer Service
Atlantic Bank’s wire transfer service is used to send money to most countries worldwide (Note: transfers to OFAC restricted countries are not allowed). The transfer can be sent in any of the major currencies such as United States dollars, Canadian dollars, Euro, and Pound.
To send a transfer you will need the creditor’s/recipient’s banking information, this will include their name, account number, address and BIC or routing number. Some countries require specific account identifiers i.e., IBAN or CLABE for Mexico) Be sure to obtain accurate banking information, as incorrect information may result in the delay of processing.
In accordance with the exchange regulations, an application for foreign exchange (XCH 1 form) is required for any movement of foreign currency. Incoming Wire Transfer Service
Atlantic Bank’s Incoming Wire transfer service is a trusted and safe option for receiving funds from international banks. To receive an international wire transfer and facilitate smooth processing, ensure:
- You provide the sender with your accurate Atlantic Bank account information.
- The reason/purpose for the transfer is specified. Reasons such as payment for invoice #12450 is not acceptable and delays the processing of the wire transfer. An acceptable purpose example: Payment for construction materials.
- To provide Atlantic Bank’s Business Identified Code (BIC), which is LIBABZBZ.
